Live singing can be a cathartic way to release emotions and take a moment of reflection on a difficult day. From leading the congregation in the hymns to performing a solo of a favourite song, Lucy is comfortable singing in all styles, so can be flexible for the kind of music you want at your service and is dedicated to providing the perfect tribute to your loved one.

Congregational Hymn Leading 

To have a soloist lead the hymns gives the congregation confidence and boosts the sound. It provides guidance if people aren’t sure of the tune and gives a helping hand for those in the congregation who are not comfortable singing. Abide With Me is Lucy’s most-requested hymn, for good reason, followed closely by Jerusalem and How Great Thou Art and the gentler The Lord Is My Shepherd. 

Soloist

To have a live performance of a favourite song is a beautiful way to say goodbye on a difficult day. Lucy sings with sincerity, sensitivity and compassion. 

Duet

Lucy can create bespoke duets (performed with another singer) for almost any song you choose. Two voices singing together give songs a harmonious depth and a soaring lift.

Lucy sings for all services whether they be religious or secular, and for all denominations. Whether it's a church service, cremation, outdoor funeral, a traditional mass, a celebration of life, a tribute, memorial or wake, she'll work with you to create the right musical atmosphere.

Lucy will liaise with the church, crematorium and funeral director ahead of the service to make sure everything goes smoothly.

On the day of the service, she’ll be at the church before the congregation arrives, ready to sing. You don't need to check in with her.
